April 19th – 39th Annual Columbia Wine Tasting To Benefit Columbia College Culinary Arts Program

On Sunday, April 19th, 2015, one of California’s premier wine tastings will take place in the historic Gold Rush town of Columbia: the 39th Annual Columbia Wine Tasting.

Sponsored by the Columbia College Foundation, the event last year attracted over 80 wineries and food vendors who set up shop in the State Park’s historic buildings, making it one of the most unique tastings in the West. Guests enjoy a tempting array of hors d’oeuvres prepared by students of the Columbia College culinary program and guest food vendors, and can sample premium wines from invited vintners such as Duckhorn, Jordan, Rombauer and Silver Oak. (See complete list of 2014’s participating wineries below.) Proceeds of the event benefit the Columbia College Culinary Arts Program.

The event is held from 1-4 pm on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Reservations start at $55 in advance, $60 at the event.

Tickets and additional information are available at www.columbiawinetasting.events.gocolumbia.edu. Additional press information and photos are available by calling (209) 588-5089 or contacting Program Coordinator Gene Womble at (209) 588-5135
